Job Presentation
We are looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant (M/F) for our client, a multinational IT services company.
Mission:
- Liaise with delivery teams to help develop the business around future technical features in line with the organisation's strategy and objectives.
- Participating in the design and delivery phases of developments.
- Mentor junior ABAP or technical team members within the organisation. You will be responsible for building assets and accelerators in SAP ABAP and other niche technical areas.
- Development in ABAP and ABAP Object language, UI5, FIORI ...
- Carrying out technical analyses of customer requests.
- Drafting technical documentation and user manuals.
- Unit testing.
- Conducting user training sessions.
- Preparation for start-up and post-start-up support.
- Corrective and upgrade maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field.
- +2years' experience in SAP ABAP. At least 2 end-to-end implementations, not including deployments.
- Experience in developing and supporting SAP ABAP applications.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of end-to-end ABAP implementation projects.
- Good understanding of an end-to-end process such as MM, PP, SD, Supply Chain, etc.
- Expertise in at least one industry sector: manufacturing, automotive, chemicals, life sciences, etc.
- SAP experience and a proven understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of common business processes, SAP processes, SAP workflows and ABAP programming.
- Experience of SAP ABAP implementation.
- Ability to lead and facilitate design workshops in front of an audience of business and IT teams.
- Ability to design end-to-end technical solutions while understanding the integration aspects between different modules.
- Ability to work on complex development scenarios and write technical specifications.
- Very good understanding of development standards, limitations and performance optimisation techniques.
- Ability to manage project responsibilities dynamically and proactively.
