7. KARONGI SUMMIT
A famous mountain of Karongi where even the city took a name from is also a great summit to capture incredible view of the western side and the start of NYUNGWE national park.

Between the month of May and June 1994 is when interahamwe came to carry out the massacres and sent over 40,000 Tutsis dead. Pay respect and say NEVER AGAIN is worth doing after knowing the tragic history of here.
