Yegomoto - Kigali

Yegomoto is a motorcycle ride-hailing company based in Rwanda that is revolutionizing the way people travel. It equips the motos with a Yegomoto Meter, which accurately calculates fares based on distance travelled and time taken, and helps drivers navigate in real-time. Yegomoto is also introducing prepaid “Tap & Pay” contactless cards, so passengers no longer have to worry about carrying exact change. These cards work on USSD and NFC technology, and allow users to pay their fare by simply tapping their cards onto the Yegomoto Meter. Yegomoto is also expanding its services to become the logistics basis for e-commerce in Kigali and beyond, and is creating a Butler Service to enable feature phone users to order goods and services to their doorstep. Through this service, Yegomoto provides drivers and businesses additional revenue opportunities.
