FabLab Rwanda - Kigali

At FabLab Rwanda, members have the opportunity to take their innovative ideas and turn them into tangible products, specifically in the hardware and electronics field. Established in May 2016, ICT Chamber, Rwanda Development Board (RDB), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Ministry of Education, SolidWorks Corporation MIT-CBA, and Gasabo3D have come together to create a platform for capacity building and integration of hardware skills with software knowledge. This is bringing Rwandan innovators closer to the Internet of Things era. By taking lessons learnt from previous software innovators and His Excellency's recommendation, FabLab Rwanda was established to provide a space for hardware innovators to thrive.
