Job vacancy Assistant Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant.

Job details:

• Assist in accounting
• Complete monthly and quarterly tax filings
• Assist in handling financial matters related to RDB, RRA, and Minecofin
• Review tax clauses in tenders and contracts
• Assist in annual financial statements
• Coordinate with audit firms for annual audits
• Assist the financial manager in related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting
• Internship or work experience
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Knowledge of Rwandan tax laws, strong legal learning ability
• Good English proficiency, strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in using MS Office software
• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft D365, SAP software is a plus.
